1984-1993 Professor at the Vocational and Professional School of Music, Cuba. He also worked as a violin and viola teacher in several music schools in Camagüey and Havana, Cuba

As a musician, he has played violin and viola in the “Miami Symphony Orchestra”, “South Florida Symphony Orchestra”, “Miami Chamber Orchestra” and “Bolivar Phil”, among many others.
